Weddings

Every year we are delighted to celebrate the joy of married life with a number of couples in our beautiful church. To learn more about the Christian understanding of marriage and what may be required of you, please click here. We usually marry people with some connection to the church, although this may simply mean living within our neighbourhood.

In 2022, Putney Methodist Church joined with other Methodist Churches across Britain in registering to perform same-sex marriages, following the national decision of the Methodist Church so to do.
