William G Udall

William Gaius Udall, Sapper, Royal Engineers 7^th Field Company. Died of wounds 22 April, 1917, aged 32. 

Buried at Warlincourt Halte British Cemetery, near Arras. The son of William and Margaret Sarah Udall of Putney, who lived at 2 Spencer Villas, Lower Common, Putney. Prior to enlisting, William was a handicraft schoolteacher.  He married Florence Emily of 3 Lower Common, Putney in St Mary’s Church in August, 1911.
