An uplifting dance show exploring the tension between loss and joy

We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting a performance of the touring production of acclaimed Springs Dance Company's newest work: 'A Time to Mourn, A Time to Dance'. This intimate, uplifting dance show has been specially choreographed by Lizzi Kew Ross and Heather Richmond.

"There is a time for everything,

and a season for every activity under the heavens" (Ecclesiastes 3:1)

Created after the pandemic, the performance offers audiences an opportunity to reflect on grief, human connection and joy, and is ultimately a celebration of life.

The Church hopes that those attending may find this an opportunity for reflection on the realities of life and death that we must all face. It may be especially relevant to those who lost people during the pandemic but never had the opportunity to mourn properly.

"Last night was easily the best experience, the best performance, the best night. Stunning. Blown away. So grateful." (audience reaction)

Thanks to a generous grant, we are delighted to be able to offer this an entirely free performance on Sunday, 20 October at 5:00 pm. It will last approximately an hour. Anyone is very welcome to attend.
